Children on a playground; Size=240 pixels wide

Parents like to know what their kids do during the day. This is our opportunity to list and describe the different activities we provide.

For example:

* Music

* Art

* Blocks

* Outdoor Play

* Free/ Imaginative play

* Circle Time (abc, counting, story time, preschool activities)

* Snacks

In this column we will describe the different activities and why they are important.

Music & Movement
While it is very fun, loud, & entertaining, it also teaches rythm and coordination.

Reading
Reading to a child at a young age has been proven to be beneficial in so many ways including helping children love to read for school readiness.

Free Play
Helps children learn to play individually as well as with others to expand their imaginations.

Art
Teaches eye hand coordination and teaches children to love to use their hands in a creative way to make beautiful things.

Most of the younger children finger paint, draw with crayons, and play with papier mache. These activities teach creativity, which helps a child in all aspects of his/her life.
